Steps to follow for the Replication of custom tables related to BP from CRM to ECC using Middleware

Hi ALl,

 

I need to Replicate the data filled in the Custom Tables related to BP ( Created in CRM ) from CRM to ECC using Middlware.

 

Few Custom tables are filled when BP is created in Web UI and few custom Filled using Interfaces.

 

I am aware of configuring the FM's in CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU and COMM_BUPA_CALL_FU tables.

 

Can any one pls let me know

 

1. The steps i need to do in order to Enhance the necessary structures and FM's and replicate the same to ECC

 

2. How to replicate the Table data which is getting uploaded using interfaces in CRM to ECC using Middleware..

   i believe this doesnt happen.. correct me if i am wrong .. And i believe this replication happens only via RFC.

Thanks for your inputs. I have sync the adapter object for replicating material with ECC but then also same problem.

 

In second case, logsys is same as old and new. So, I am unable to use BDLS trx. to convert old logsys to new logsys. This is an upgradation from CRM 5.0 to 7.1

 

Any more help.

Organization model replication from ECC to CRM

Hello Experts,

 

We are facing an issue in replicating the org model from ECC to CRM. When we try to generate the model in the path

Customer Relationship ManagementMaster DataOrganization management  Data transfer  Copy ECC Sales structure

the data transfer ends with error. In the error CRM sales org number, CRM sales office number etc come out to be blank. When we try to manually create an organization and mapp them to the same sales org, sales office the data is saved.

Please help.

Some customer numbers of ECC is not flowing into CRM through CRM-middleware.

Hi,

 

I have configured delta loading in R3AC1 for CUSTOMER_MAIN object with filter condition kna1-kunnar low = 050000000 and high = 0599999999 in  CRM7.0 system to transfer customer number (kna1-kunnar) from ECC system to CRM. some of customer numbers  are not flowing through middle ware.

There are no entries struck in queues and no error messages in smw01.

 

But whenever i reprocessed those particular customer numbers using R3AR2 & R3AR4 , those are flowing successfully.

 

Can anyone please tell me why those customer numbers are not flowing under delta loading process.,and  i am not getting to where those numbers are going , because there are no queues strucked and no error messages.

Equipment replication from ECC to CRM

Hello All,

 

Please help me to resolve the equipment issue replication from ECC to CRM.

 

There two equipment's are not replicating from ECC to CRM system, I have checked equipment in IH10,there was a wrong assignment of the contact person, we corrected the partner function and re-process the B doc in CRM system still we are getting the below error messages, please help what needs to corrected from ECC and CRM perspective to resolve this issue.

IBase component does not exist at the time specified                                                                     CRM_IB         52

From the above error I can find the equipment in IH10 & where do I find the component?

 

This is the first time I'm working on this kind of issue (equipment), please help me.

Mass BP Load into CRM & Replicating in ERP

Hi All,

 

We have a requirement to load 500,000+ BP's (0.5+ Million BP's) into CRM system from legacy system. We have to replicate all these BP's from CRM system into R/3 system. We have done CRM Middleware configurations and we are able to load data to CRM system and replicate the same in R/3 system. The issue is with the performance, it is taking nearly 9 to 10 Hours to load 65,000 BP's (total records = 300,000) into CRM and replicate the same in R/3. We are using BAPI's to create the Business partners in CRM.

 

In some threads they were suggesting to turn off the Middleware via MW_MODE, conduct mass load in CRM and then turn on the Middleware for replication. This solution didn't improve the performance to greater extent.

 

I am new to CRM, please suggest the best approach to load BP's to CRM and replicate in R/3 when the data is huge.

We have exactly the same requirement. We have around 5,00,000+ BP's to be loaded into CRM system from legacy system and we have to replicate the same in ERP system.

 

Please let us know the approach you follow to handle this mass load.

Dear Geert,

 

As per our further analysis. This issue we are having with respect to Scenario A - Interchangeability along with CRM to APO GATP check.

 

If you already worked in this scenario pl.. give your suggestion what setting we need to make in CRM & ECC.

 

We are also thinking of  writing to SAP and ask for support.

Hi

Please press F1 on the rule field.  It says

 

Rule for the postal code field check

Indicator that determines how the Postal code field check is to be carried out.

Defined checks are triggered using Key 1 to 8. The numeric entry, the length of the entry, and any gaps in the entry are checked.

 

A special country-specific check is activated using Key 9. The entry is checked against a template defined in the system. Templates are currently defined for Canada, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, South Korea, and Portugal.

The following templates are implemented (A = letter, N = digit):

Canada: ANA NAN

The Netherlands: NNNN AA

Poland: NN-NNN

Sweden

Slovakia

The Czech Rep.: NNN NN

South Korea: NNN-NNN

Portugal: NNNN-NNN or NNNN

In the case of Portugal, the templates NNNN (old form) and NNNN-NNN (after the postal code reform) are used for the transition if check rule '9' is set.

 

USA: The system checks, independently of check rule '9', whether the postal code for an address in the USA satisfies the format NNNNN-NNNN or NNNNN.

Hello Debolina,

 

You are facing the issue because, Scheduler is not running, or else there is a communication or resource problem.

If your queue(s) are unregistered, you can register them using SMQS. Look for a missing destination or a destination with a 'U'  (unregistered) in the first column. 

 

Check if the queue is waiting any queue to be processed. Generally dependent queue entry is visible in the last column in SMQ1 transaction. 

 

Worst case you can write an report to process queues, upto 30k can be processed in a day depending on the data content in the BDOCs.

Hi Harish,

 

Please also switch off duplicate check settings for business partner and contact person (if you are using duplicate check functionality).

 

We were also having the replication issues. When we switched off the duplicate check settings (as we are using duplicate check functionality), the performance was improved.

I'm  getting error 'Specify name of contact person' for contacts in CRM (smw01).

 

I tried to reproduce the issue in many ways, but i have failed in that.

 

I need expert advise to resolve this BDOC issue.

Hi all.,

 

I have a product in display mode in order.

 

I need to replace that product without deleting or recreating. is there any workaround to edit the product please? I littrelly need to Over write the Existing product but since its in display mode, i am not able to do.

Hi Marry,

 

You have not mentioned why do you want to replace the product instead of removing the existing one and adding the new one.

 

If you just replace the product, then the pricing will go wrong since it has to be determined based on the new product added. So it will not work.

 

If you have a specific use case/requirement, you can provide the details.

Hi Sree,

 

1. There might be a mandatory field in contact person in ECC which is not filled.

 

2. If the direction of the replication is from CRM to ERP and you have not filled any of the name fields for contact person here in CRM, this error might occur. Because in ERP system the last name field may mandatory.

 

So you need to fill the Name fields here and check the Bdoc monitor through smw01

Hello, Santhosh

 

If you truly want to replicate data from custom table (not enhancement of excisting table) you should produce steps below:      

 

1. Creation of a new Replication object(Tcode SMOEAC)

2. Creation of the new filters(Tcode r3ac1) with FM for outbound and inbound processing

3. Creation of a new queue registartion(SMQR and SMQS).

 

It will take a lot of effort. Maybe you should try enhance exsiting tables with already excisted middleware objects? Nice blog post about replication of custom fields
