SALESDOCUMENT Filter issue

Hi Folks,

I am trying to use the filter for object "SALESDOCUMENT".

I have done the parameter settings for CRMPAROLTP in ECC. Once i go to R3AC1 and click on button "Filter Synch R3" it does not show me any error.

I compared both table SMOFFILTAB in CRM and CRMFILTAB in ECC. Both are having different entries.

I have gone through many threads and SAP notes, still facing the issue. Could anyone help me out to solve this issue.

Best regards,

Dinesh

Hello Dinesh,

The table CRMFILTAB in ECC and the table SMOFFILTAB in CRM are not supposed to be the same.

Let me explain the reason to you:

ECC rable CRMFILTAB is used only for data being sent from ECC to CRM. This is because filtering is always performed in the source system. For instance, object CUSTOMER_MAIN is only valid for data transfer from ECC to CRM (also can be seen from the flow tab in R3AC1). Therefore, the filter settings defined for CUSTOMER_MAIN should be updated in ECC table CRMFILTAB.

CRM table SMOFFILTAB is only read for data selection on the CRM side.

When you save filter settings in transaction R3AC1 you have to select the source site in the dropdown. When doing this for CUSTOMER_MAIN you only have the option to select OLTP as the source site. It follows that only the filtering table on the OLTP system (ie table CRMFILTAB on ECC) should be updated.

An exmaple of where SMOFFILTAB would be used is when an initial laod is performed of, say, BUPA_MAIN from CRM to ECC. Then, when updating the filters you can select CRM as the source site. In this case, the filtering is done on hte CRM system and CRM table SMOFFILTAB is used.

Also, filtering in R3AC1 on data sent from the CRM is used only for initial load (or request), which works the same way as an initial load. For delta changes made on the CRM side, data can only be restricted using filter criteria in the admin console (tr SMOEAC).

Hope my answer helps you.

Best regards,

Julin Xin

Hi Chella,

Just for your information: Rather than adding the set types explicitly, better run initial load of DNL_CUST_PROD1 in CRM system so that it brings all the categories and hierarchies from ERP system and updates the required set types for them. This also updates the set types for other categories (if found missing).

Hope it helps,

~Athreya

Hi Julin,

Thanks for prompt answer.

Our Scenario is: We are creating Sales order in ECC and then it's get replicated in CRM.

We are having multiple document types in ECC. Now, we want to restrict few orders type like Return orders from ECC to CRM.

If i go to R3AC1 and update the filters (Source - OLTP), it is not updating in ECC  - CRMFILTAB.

As of now, I mentioned fields "ERDAT" and "AUART" for those document type which should be replicated in CRM.

Still i am getting those order types which is not there in filters settings.

How can i restrict it?

Best regards,

Dinesh

Dear Dinesh,

Please check the points below:

1. Check if the parameter CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE is being maintained for object "sales document" in table CRMPAROLTP.

2. Check if the entries used for filter such as "ERDAT" and "AUART" is existing in table CRMMAPTAB and CRMINTBAP.

Please see note 788822 for more details.

Best regards,

Julin Xin

Dear Julin,

1. Parameter CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE is already maintained.

2. Entries (ERDAT & AUART) are available in Table: CRMINTBAP

3. Entries (ERDAT & AUART) are not available in Table: CRMMAPTAB

Only below entries exist with VBAK.

Issue - Logical system name changed, see oss note 588701

Hello Experts,

We have an issue in ECC system

>> outboundque  smq1 ,>> in that ques status are showing as SYSFAIL, and the information is      '""""logical system name changed, see oss note 588701""",

In the note the resolution is mentioned below, but not sure where to correct, change logical system name / or make any entry.  Please advise.

Resolution

There are different cases in which different forms of processing are required or where several options exist:

  • The logical system name of an R/3 Backend client was changed in current operation. In this case, the data hangs in the outbound queues of the R/3 Backend system as specified under point 1 of the symptom. In this case, the logical system name must be changed back to the original value. Then the outbound queues can be reactivated. If no data was transferred to the EBP/CRM server before the change, also a correctioin of the check table is possible.
  • The same logical system name was used again in a new client of an R/3 Backend system that was linked to the EBP/CRM server. In this case, the data is in the inbound queue of the EBP/CRM server with the exception GUID_FOR_LOGSYS_CHANGED. In this case, the queue entries which have status SYSFAIL must be rejected, however, not the entire queues. If the new client of the R/3 Backend system you have linked has exactly the same data as the old client and if it is meant to replace the old client (that is, this was deactivated), also a correction of the check tables is possible. In this case, the inbound queues can be reactivated after the correction.

Appreciate your response.

Thanks and Regards

DJ

Dear Dinesh,

As you see, the field "ERDAT" and "AUART" is already existing in CRMFILTAB of ECC system. (Sorry for the typo in my last reply. They should be existing in table CRMFILTAB of ECC system.)

So until now, the filter in R3AC1 has been synchronized to table CRMFILTAB in ECC system, right?

Are you facing that the filter does not working? Are there sales orders out of the filter still being loaded to CRM? If so, you would need to check in note 788822 step-by-step for the settings.

Let me know if you still have any other concerns.

Thanks,

Best regards,

Julin Xin

Dear Julin,

Below is my R3AC1 screenshot:

Entries of table CRMFILTAB and R3AC1 does not match.

In R3AC1, i entered Date and VBTYPE only C only. I did not mention AUART, previously i wanted to extract few sales orders only, now i want to change the filters for VBTYPE "C" Only.

I believe, this should be matched. Please correct me, if i am wrong.

Hello Dnyanesh,

this error never ocurr by itself, what was changed in you landscape prior this error?

Typically, this error occurs after system copy, when there are unprocessed BDocs from original system copied to the new landscape.

Is the error in your production environment?

Each system/client has written its own logical system in table T000 (transaction SCC4). Please, check if that logical name there fits to the one defined in CRM subscriptions (in CRM, transaction SMOEAC), or vice versa, in table CRMRFCPAR (in ECC, transaction SM30, enter CRMRFCPAR, check detail of some entry pointing to CRM and down on detail screen you should see logical system of connected CRM system).

Please, come back if you get stuck and maybe bring more details - SID of your systems, clients used, logical names...

Regards,

Dawood.
